These five pillars drive our organization. We are committed to providing the best possible experience for all families within our Nighthawks community, past and present. The support we receive from our community drives us to uphold these pillars.

Community

The Wilmington Nighthawks are a community-centered and driven program. It was started as a way for kids from different schools in the Brandywine School District to come together and play as one.

Cost

Hockey is one of the most expensive sports in the world with a high barrier of entry. We as an organization are committed to keeping our costs as close as possible to the actual costs to play. Our organization is a 501c3 Non-Profit.

An organization is only as strong as its members. That is why we place a strong emphasis on;

Fun

We belive that hockey should be fun for everyone. As our players move up in age the demand for success often is put over the want or need for fun. We as an organization do not want to sacrifice fun for succes, however, we recognize that all teams situations are different and respect our coaches.

Safety

We are committed to providing a safe environment for all of our organizations members. All of our coaches and board members are required to under USA Hockeys Safesport training. Any safety concerns can be sent to Wilmnighthawks@gmail.com.
